OscarMurillo was born in 1986. in Columbia, he lives and works inLondon. Murillo earned his BFA in 2007 from the University ofWestminster, London, followed by his MFA in 2012 from the RoyalCollege of Art, London. His solo exhibitions were on view in Haus derKunst, Munich (2017), Yarat Contemporary Art Centre, Bakhu (2017),Museo de Arte de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Bogotá (2015),Artpace, San Antonio, Texas (2015), Centro Cultural Daoíz y Velarde,Madrid (2014), South London Gallery, London (2013).
