WHW Akademija treats “learning by doing” as a crucial element in a dialogic educational process. This year, exchanging knowledge, engaging research, sharing experiences, and supporting emerging artists in the context of a global pandemic and ongoing crisis, will take precedence over the production of works and the need to “show”. Therefore, ongoing public program Evenings with WHW Akademija, as an essential part of WHW Akademija 2021, invites a variety of artists, curators, and activists to share lectures, workshops, and other types of participatory programs.

After the series of talks and workshops Artistic Ecologies, New Compasses and Tools curated by Pablo Martinez, Emily Pethick and WHW throughout the month of March, on 13th of April Evenings with WHW Akademija presented a lecture Back to the East? by Zdenka Badovinac.

Next we are glad to present Space Is the Place by Aude Christel Mgba in conversation with Amal Alhaag and Simnikiwe Buhlungu on 29th of April.
