Conversation and gathering
Friday, May 19th, 6 pm
Centar mladih Ribnjak, Park Ribnjak 1, Zagreb

Join us for the conversation with the members of the professorial team: Yael Davids, Adelita Husni-Bey, Pablo Martínez and Marina Naprushkina, as well as the participants of WHW Akademija 2023 Gleb Amankulov, Larissa Araz, Kemil Bekteši, Klara Burić, Katja Crevar, Aria Farajnezhad, Đejmi Hadrović, Hu Yun, Mari Kalabegashvili, Ivana Mirchevska, Jelisaveta Rapaić and Rita Süveges and the Summer School guest participants Pennie Key and Lena Pozdnyakova.

We will be discussing how we can collectively become and emerge as a temporary collective by being and thinking together. How in educational situations can we co-create supportive environments? How can care and education be emancipatory practices? In this informal get together followed by drinks and snacks with the whole line-up of the fifth edition of WHW Akademija we are inviting you to welcome the 2023 season of our study program.

The summer school program includes Fendelkrais sessions, interventions, seminars and workshops with Adelita Husni-Bey, Yael Davids, Pablo Martínez and Marina Naprushkina. Through a series of bodily and somatic collaborative exercises, seminars, presentations, discussions, workshops, and collective actions, the WHW Akademija summer school initiates an intense exchange between the participants, the professorial team, and the local setting.

Through seminars and workshops, the program rethinks and redevelops the structures that hold us—our bodies, communities, and the environment.
