On February 2nd at 19 pm CET, member of WHW Ana Dević will join Albert Heta and Miran Mohar to take part in the session DOPUNSKA NASTAVA (Extra/remedial/corrective classes) as a part of educational program Evening School organized by The Institute of Contemporary Art – ISU.

ISU is ngo association for research, education, and production in art, whose goals are to develop content, which reflects and analyze events and processes in the artistic and social discourse in Montenegro, connecting them with related contemporary art practices, internationally. One of the key goals of the Evening School is to create a space for new exchanges to emerge and lasting collaborations to get established, both among participants and with our organization and associates. Therefore, the program of Evening School is designed to support the active involvement of participants, through a series of meetings during the months of January and February 2021.

Through alternative educational program Evening School, ISU enforces the free flow of ideas, knowledge, and experiences necessary to understand the language of contemporary practices and to continue developing the conditions in Montenegro for participation in regional and global knowledge exchange. The program addresses primarily the young generations of artists and researchers to encourage their practices and theories, and it is also open for anybody who expresses their interest and motivation through the open call.

 

The second block of lectures and presentations – DOPUNSKA NASTAVA (Extra/remedial/corrective classes). 

February 2 and 3(Tuesday and Wednesday) from 7 to 10 p.m. (online)

The focus of this section are organizations and individuals from the region, who base their practice on reflective and interdisciplinary activity, develop alternative educational systems, thus examining different approaches to learning and mechanisms for creating and distributing knowledge about art, culture, and society.
